Professional Observatories

This is a developing list of professional observatories around the world.

*  NRAO, Green Bank, West Virginia.  This is one of the primary radio telescopes that is utilized by the University of Virginia UVa Astronomy Department for research. 

* NRAO, Charlottesville, VA. Headquarters for the Green Bank Telescope.

*  McCormick Observatory. (1885) Thomas Jefferson's observatory at UVa and the meeting place for Charlottesville Astronomical Society (CAS).

*  Fan Mountian Observatory.  Another UVa observatory.

*  University of Arizona Steward Observatory.  Collaboration Agreement with UVa research.

*  Apache Point Observatory, NM.  Another UVa collaboration for research.

*  MGIO, Mount Graham Observatory. Another access telescope for UVa collaborations.
